Files Go is built local-first. Your files, dictation audio, search index and canvas content live on your device. We do not sell your personal data and we do not run ads.
What runs on your device
- File search, previews and organization — fully local.
- Dictation transcription via on-device Whisper — your voice never leaves your PC.
- Canvas workspace content — stored locally.
- Remote Mouse pairing — direct over your local Wi-Fi.
What we may collect
- Anonymous, aggregated usage and crash reports to improve the app.
- Update checks (app version, currently 1.3.6, and OS version only).
- Information you send us voluntarily, e.g. support emails.
We do not collect file names, file contents, search queries, dictation audio, or canvas data.
Third-party services
The Video Downloader connects to the source you paste (e.g. YouTube, Instagram) to fetch the requested media. We don't proxy or store those requests.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing theluvitapp@gmail.com.
